Zilverline organizes Agile Project Management training with Rob Thomsett

On October 22 and 23 2008 Zilverline organizes an Agile Project Management training in Breukelen. This is an excellent opportunity to get first hand experience from very experienced Agile Project Managers. Details of the training

The training, presented by Rob Thomsett, is a two-day workshop for project managers. In this highly-provocative and challenging training, Agile Project Management will be explored and the workshop will provide a forum for project managers together with their peers to come to grips with the new world of project management.

The workshop is presented as a series of tutorials which will be tailored to reflect the participant's knowledge and experience, particularly focusing on those areas in which participants require advanced knowledge or are currently experiencing difficulties.We will cover the following subjects:

2. Agile Project Management Process
3. Project Stakeholder Management
4. Added Value Analysis
5. Risk management.

About Rob Thomsett

Rob joined computing in 1968 and has been consulting and educating in the area of project management, teams and quality since 1974. In 1981, Rob was contracted by YOURDON Inc. in New York to present seminars in the U.S. and U.K. based on his book People and Project Management published by YOURDON Press.

During his career, Rob has worked with Gerry Weinberg, Larry Constantine, Meiler Page-Jones and Ed Yourdon. These people have influenced much of Rob's work. Rob is also a member of the Editorial Board of the prestigious American Programmer with Ed Yourdon, Tom DeMarco, Bill Curtis, Capers Jones and other leading U.S. information system experts.

His second book Third Wave Project Management: A Handbook for managing the Complex Information Systems for the 1990s was published by Prentice Hall, New York in 1993.

In 1994, he developed the Accreditation Programme for Project Management for the Australian Computer Society. His latest book, Radical Project Management, 2002 has continued to gain a world-wide interest. He has presented at many IT and business conferences and has been voted Speaker of the Conference in many of them.

Michael Franken is an Agile Management Consultant, Trainer andCoach, as well as a Project Manager.
