Gibas is an organization that specializes in building and further developing machines and tools used in the industry. To provide potential customers with quotes, a lot of manual actions are currently required from employees to achieve a result. Quotes are created by hand, cut, pasted, and adjusted again. This is very time-consuming and error-prone.
Zilverline has been asked to create a quote tool for 2 divisions of Gibas, the Numeric and Automation departments. We chose to develop a web-based system in which quotes can be created. The system supports multiple users. For a new quote, the language of the quote, the seller, and the division, as well as a potentially existing customer, are selected or entered, and the system automatically generates a quote with a unique tracking number. In addition to the quote, a confirmation of the assignment is created, and everything is linked to the internal databases.
The web-based system is securely installed on Gibas's existing hosting environment and is connected to CRM and other existing applications. The solution is delivered securely to Gibas with all associated certificates.
Gibas chose Zilverline to quickly achieve results in short sprints with a small number of senior developers. Zilverline's experience with custom software and the knowledge we gained with Jortt ensured that Zilverline was awarded this project.
By having the quote tool custom-made for Gibas, the organization has been able to work much faster and more reliably. By opting for custom software, Gibas avoids expensive licensing models of standard quote packages and costly implementation.
The solution was delivered on time and within budget and is being used satisfactorily by Gibas.
